This policy applies to every customer of Network Edge LLC and to anyone using our services, including your own downstream customers. Your contract requires you to pass equivalent obligations to them.
1. Prohibited activity
You may not use the service to:
- Violate applicable law, or facilitate a violation of it
- Announce or use IP address space or ASNs you are not authorized to use
- Send unsolicited bulk email, or provide services in support of it
- Launch or knowingly host denial-of-service attacks, port scans, brute-force attacks or intrusion attempts against any network
- Distribute malware, ransomware, botnet command-and-control, phishing sites or credential-harvesting infrastructure
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Host or distribute child sexual abuse material — this results in immediate termination and referral to law enforcement
- Forge headers, spoof source addresses, or otherwise misrepresent the origin of traffic
- Interfere with the operation of the Network Edge network or any other network
2. Routing conduct
- Announce only prefixes covered by your authorization and IRR objects
- Maintain valid ROAs for prefixes you originate
- Apply appropriate maximum-prefix limits
- Apply anti-spoofing filtering at your network edge where practical
- Do not leak routes between providers or peers
- Do not point a default route at a peering session
3. Colocation conduct
- Follow facility access, safety and security procedures
- Stay within your contracted power draw and cooling envelope
- Keep cabling and airflow management within your own footprint
- Do not interfere with other tenants' equipment, cabling or space
4. Network security expectations
Keep equipment patched, do not run open resolvers, open relays or amplification vectors, and respond to abuse reports about your network in a reasonable time.
5. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse originating from or transiting AS7201 to the contact form, choosing NOC or abuse. Include timestamps with time zone, source and destination addresses, ports, protocol and a log excerpt. The more precise the report, the faster it can be acted on.
6. Enforcement
Where practical we will contact you and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue. Where a violation presents an immediate risk to the network, to third parties or to us — or where required by law — we may filter, suspend or terminate service without prior notice.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as network practice and threats evolve. The current version is always published at this address.
